WOODFIELD RETREAT – BOOKING POLICY & TERMS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking at Woodfield Retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services including sauna use, studio hire, accommodation, retreats, and use of the surrounding land and facilities.

2. Health & Personal Responsibility

All guests participate in activities at Woodfield Retreat entirely at their own risk.

 

• Sauna use, cold exposure, and outdoor environments carry inherent risks.

• You confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate.

• You agree to consult a medical professional if you have any underlying health conditions.

 

Woodfield Retreat accepts no responsibility for any injuries, illnesses, reactions, or health complications arising from participation.

3. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodfield Retreat, its owners, staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:

 

• Personal injury, illness, or death

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

• Accidents occurring anywhere on the property, including saunas, studio, accommodation, walkways, woodland, and surrounding land

 

All guests enter and use the premises entirely at their own risk.

4. Sauna Use (All Sauna Facilities)

Use of both sauna facilities is entirely at your own risk.

 

• Follow all posted guidelines and staff instructions

• Do not use the sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Exit immediately if feeling unwell

 

Woodfield Retreat is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from sauna use.

5. Studio Hire & Events

The person or group booking the studio assumes full responsibility for:

 

• All participants attending their session

• Any injury or incident during use

• Any damage caused to the space or equipment

 

The booking party agrees to indemnify Woodfield Retreat against any claims arising from their use of the studio.

6. Use of Grounds & Natural Environment

Woodfield Retreat is located within a natural, uneven, outdoor environment.

 

• Surfaces may be slippery, uneven, or unlit

• Wildlife, weather, and natural hazards may be present

 

Guests accept full responsibility for their safety while on the land and surrounding areas.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

All bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

•  

  • 24+hours notice → reschedule / refund 

  • Less than 24hours → no refund

Woodfield Retreat reserves the right to reschedule bookings due to weather or operational reasons.

8. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is permitted once per booking with sufficient notice. Additional changes may incur fees.

9. Code of Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any guest behaving in a way that is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

10. Damage & Responsibility

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to property, facilities, or equipment. Costs for repair or replacement will be charged accordingly.

11. Late Arrival

Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without refund.

12. Force Majeure

Woodfield Retreat is not liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including weather, power outages, or natural events.

13. Agreement

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in full.
